The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the much-anticipated return of the TATA IPL Fan Parks for the 2025 season. This year, the initiative will expand its reach to 50 cities across 23 states and one union territory, bringing the electrifying IPL experience to fans nationwide.
The 2025 IPL Fan Parks will span 10 weekends, beginning on March 22, 2025, and concluding on May 25, 2025. Covering the entire length and breadth of India, these fan parks will be set up in locations ranging from Tinsukia (Assam) in the northeast to Kochi (Kerala) in the south, and from Amritsar (Punjab) in the north to Goa in the west.
Each Fan Park will offer a thrilling match-day experience, featuring live match screenings, music, entertainment, food courts, a kids’ play zone, and interactive activities such as a virtual batting zone, bowling through nets, face-painting areas, replica dugouts, a cheer-o-meter, and 360° photo booths. Since its launch in 2015, the IPL Fan Parks initiative has brought the magic of the tournament to millions of cricket enthusiasts who may not have access to stadiums.
The first set of Fan Parks for IPL 2025 will be held in Rohtak (Haryana), Bikaner (Rajasthan), Gangtok (Sikkim), Kochi (Kerala), and Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). Every weekend, multiple cities across India will host Fan Parks simultaneously, ensuring maximum fan participation. This year, Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Dimapur (Nagaland), Karaikal (Puducherry), Manbhum and Purulia (West Bengal), Rohtak, and Tinsukia will be hosting IPL Fan Parks for the very first time.
IPL Chairman, Mr. Arun Singh Dhumal, highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating:
“The IPL Fan Parks play a vital role in our mission to bring the tournament closer to fans. By organizing these events in multiple cities, we aim to recreate the stadium atmosphere and allow fans to celebrate IPL together. This initiative strengthens our connection with cricket lovers across the country, ensuring they experience the energy and passion of the sport in a dynamic setting.”
BCCI Honorary Secretary, Mr. Devajit Saikia, added:
“The IPL Fan Parks reflect our commitment to engaging fans beyond the stadiums. Since 2015, this initiative has delivered unforgettable IPL experiences to millions of people. With the 2025 edition covering 50 cities, we are thrilled to expand our reach and bring the excitement of IPL to even more fans across India.”
